Growing up

My oldest son, Nathan, attended his first formal dance on Saturday night. It was a momentous occasion and he looked great. It's hard to believe that he's grown up so quickly. Cherish the moments...

New Year!

It's a new year and as much as I enjoyed the time off (school...not cleaning up after the other 5 people in my home) I'm glad to get back into a routine. I love a schedule, routine, a plan and I love clearing out old files, papers, etc and deep cleaning.

I'm also excited about the new year because I'm making new friends and reconnecting with some old friends (thanks to facebook). There is a Girl Scout song that says: Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, but the other gold. That's exactly the way I feel. So whether you are an old or new friend, know that I treasure you and look forward to time together in this New Year.
